Time Delaying Inner Peace
Article by Tony Robinson
Time often delays inner peace, since most of us do not have the time to sit and think about what we need to do to make contact with our inner self. Time also holds us back from our inner peace when we do not take the time to find out what we want, who we are, and what we need to find inner peace.
Still, some people sit around all day doing nothing and wonder why they do not have inner peace. These people often waste valuable time pounding their mind on seemingly endless thoughts that lead nowhere. The person may feel frustrated throughout the day, or else stressed throughout their lifetime.
All types of people make up the world. Some people focus on family, others focus on crime, and yet others focus on self. All types of people make up the world, yet we can never describe the many people in the world.
The criminal minds find it difficult to find inner peace since their minds are overwhelmed with guilt, criminal thinking, and getting away with unlawful acts. The criminals rarely find relief until they apologize, accept their blame, and move ahead with their life doing better things throughout the remaining part of their life.
Some people find inner peace but lose it quickly, since their minds are vulnerable to stressors. Whatever the problem is, in order to find inner peace you must learn to accept who you are and stop worrying about changing everyone else.
When a person has mental illnesses, they find it difficult often to find inner peace. Unfortunately, these gifted souls have more information than the average person has in most instances and cannot find a place of comfort, since the ailment is often in control. Sometimes a person with mental illness can find a measure of peace while taking medications, but when they are coming down from the drugs administered, they soon learn that the peace was artificial.
Chemical imbalances can cause a person enough problems that inner peace seems out of reach. Again, we are put here with the gift to obtain inner peace. Thus, we must be in touch with our spiritual side, wild side, dominant side, and submissive side to find out what type of person we really are to reach inner peace.
Do you know who you are? Do you know you history? Do you know where your family originated? Heritage is essential, since people find it hard to reach inner peace when they do not know where they came from. Since the philosophers lead people to believe in reincarnation, some people have difficulty finding their true self to obtain inner peace. The fact is, reincarnation is not true, rather we accumulate behaviors, habits, patterns, personality, et cetera through our ancestry. Thus, misleading information throughout our history forces our mind to react in a dark light, since the information is deceitful.
As human beings, we focus on the truth. Until we have the truth within, we do not have inner peace. Thus, finding the truth will help you find inner peace, but still it takes work to keep that peace alive.
Persons searching for inner peace also need to get in touch with their sexuality. Some people think getting in touch with their sexuality means to spread them self around like wild flowers. Contrary to the notion, getting in touch with your sexuality, means getting in touch with you, your desires, your standards, beliefs, et cetera. A person in touch with their sexuality will not have difficulty in any situation relating, since the person will not have any enclosed or confined walls up during the conversation, acts, et cetera. In other words, the person is happy with who they are and will have no problem relating in any situation and will have an open mind while in action.
Inner peace is a quietness of the mind, where the emotions, subconscious, conscious, thoughts all join in union to work together as a team to bring forth joy and happiness within. Finding your inner peace takes work, but delaying will only linger your gift to smile each day you live.

inner peace question by thebuffettour: How do you keep your inner peace when you have screaming children?
I have been reading a book about how you control your inner “peace” and I have been trying to practice it, but my 3 1/2 year old daughters are just driving me nuts. How am I expected to be calm when all I want to do is put them in seperate rooms and lock the doors.

turn it into a game and scream with them. It will let out your frustration and you can transition it into something else, or at least wear them out.

“Daydreaming by the Sea” features four pleasant, effective relaxation techniques to calm the mind and body:
Relaxation Breathing
Progressive Muscle Relaxation
Guided Imagery: The Mediterranean Sea
Meditation: Love and Acceptance
Description of Relaxation Techniques
Relaxation Breathing: This exercise begins with simply observing the breath, without trying to change it. Next is deep breathing, and includes inhaling through your nose, allowing your abdomen to expand, and exhaling through your mouth, releasing tension with your breath. The next portion focuses on exhalation and trying to squeeze out as much air as possible, then allowing your abdomen to gently expand with the inhalation. The relaxation breathing track ends by again observing the breath and noticing how your mind and body are relaxing.
Progressive Muscle Relaxation: Dr. Edmund Jacobson developed Progressive Muscle Relaxation in the 1920′s, and today it continues to be a very effective method of relaxation. It involves tensing and relaxing different muscle groups, allowing you to enter a deep state of relaxation. Dr. Jacobson once said “an anxious mind cannot exist in a relaxed body”, and you will understand what he meant by this as you notice your muscles gradually relaxing and your mind calming as you follow the progressive muscle relaxation exercise.
Guided Imagery: This particular guided imagery is called The Mediterranean Sea, and takes you on a pleasant, relaxing journey to the Italian Riviera. Beth Freschi will describe sights, sounds, smells, and other sensations that will invite you to imagine a visit to a beautiful beach. If you have never experienced guided imagery, The Mediterranean Sea will be a a wonderful introduction to this very special relaxation technique. One way to describe guided imagery is that it is like a daydream that leads you to only pleasant and relaxing places.
Meditation: Love and Acceptance is a version of the loving kindness meditation. This type of meditation encourages you to develop a sense of kindness and friendliness toward yourself and others. The phrases are so universal, it fits with any religion or belief system. As you listen and practice the meditation, feel your heart open and notice how negative thoughts give way to a more positive outlook.

The Truth Behind Brainwave CDs
Article by A. Majid
Everybody in the world of self-help agree that meditation is good.
The benefits are truly great; increased mind power, metal clarity, increased IQ, vitality, self-enlightenment, less sleep, and more.
But really, how many of us can follow a strict meditation schedule? And we are talking about hours each day if you want reap the true benefits. An honest answer would be not many. Why is it we don’t do what is good for us? The answer lies in the hectic schedule we are force to endure in our modern world. We simkply don’t have the time.
Until now.
We’ve all heard about brainwave meditation CDs before, which provide a short-cut to meditation bliss. Holosync is perhaps the best known example.
Cutting a long story short, brainwave meditation CDs basically contain specially-created sounds. When listened to with headphones, these sounds help to influence your brainwaves – a process known as “brainwave entrainment.” These sounds basically take your brainwaves down to a low frequency state – similar to that achieved by Tibetan monks after years of meditation practice.
By listening to these CDs everyday, you can start enjoying the awesome benefits of meditation without the need for spending 30 years in a cave forsaking your life. But there is a problem. Most brainwave meditation CDs simply don’t deliver.
I’ve tried Holosync, Optimindzation, Hemi-Sync, and many others. Yes, the science behind the technology is solid. However, each of these uses boring-sounding audio recordings, and require at least one hour listening a day. Many brainwave CDs, especially Holosync, also cost thousands to complete the course, and require many years of practice. Technically, they also only employ one mode of brainwave entrainment – a fatal error in the world of brainwave technology.
But among the rubble, there’s one true gem that stands out – at least for me – above the crowd. It’s called the Brain Evolution System – or “BrainEv” – and it’s been the talk of the self-help since it’s launch back in 2006.
It brings about all the benefits of true meditation – greater energy, increased IQ, emotional mastery, sharper thinking, heightened creativity, better relationships, improved memory, less required sleep, greater relaxation levels. And it does it without the shortcomings of its competitors.
Brain Evolution System is a 6-CD system that contains perhaps the most beautiful audio recordings the self-development world has ever heard. It only requires 30 minutes of listening each day, which you can do as you fall asleep, or by waking up 30 minutes earlier than normal. You also only need to listen 6 times a week. And you don’t have to break the bank to own it. The entire program costs just a fraction of its competitors.
Most importantly, BrainEv has proven itself the most technically superior product on the market.
It employs something known as “3P DEAP” technology, intertwining three different methods of brainwave entrainment together – to produce truly industry-pioneering results. That essentially guarantees you’ll experience the most profound benefits around – such as a boost in your mind power, mental clarity, full body relaxation, enhanced creativity, and greater energy levels.
In short, my experience has found only one true leader in the world of brainwave CDs, The Brain Evolution System.
It stands tall above the rest – and truly delivers the most powerful benefits of meditation, usually within days of starting the program. It’ll revolutionize your life – and help you enjoy the advantages of what would usually take years of disciplined practice to achieve.

meditation cds question by NoPatience4Meditating: Can you recommend a meditation / visualization CD that won’t make me roll my eyes?
I’ve heard all about the benefits of meditation and visualization. But the CDs I’ve tried so far make me want to roll my eyes and think, “you have got to be kidding me.” I think I need something that’s very practical, or somewhat humorous, vs. liable to make me want to bite the speaker’s head off. (NOT a good meditation!) Anyone have any ideas?

Soothing Relaxation Techniques To Tame Your Stress
Article by Pamela Savvy
Two of the easiest and most potent relaxation techniques you can practice is deep breathing and meditation. And the wonderful thing is, these relaxation techniques can be done in mere minutes, absolutely anywhere.
* Deep Breathing
The first relaxation technique is a deep breathing exercise that can be done in less than one minute.
Place the tip of your tongue at the top edge of your upper front teeth, where your teeth meet your gums. When you inhale, practice what’s called belly breathing. Instead of scrunching your shoulders up around your neck when you inhale, which increases shoulder and neck tension, leave them still. Instead, push your belly outward while you’re inhaling, as if it’s a big balloon filling with air. Inhale to the count of four. Hold it to the count of seven.
Now for the exhale! Exhale through your mouth to the count of eight; part your lips, leaving your tongue at the top edge of your upper teeth, and push all the air out of your lungs. This encourages fresh air to reach the very bottom of your lungs, pushes out all the stale air.
You may experience very slight lightheadedness and even euphoria when conducting this simple relaxation technique.
You can practice deep breathing several times a day: while driving, working or doing household chores. This relaxation technique is also particularly effective when someone dumps an unexpected load of stress right over your head, whether it’s your boss or your child. This relaxation technique is also very helpful in the face of anger, especially if you can retreat to another room; if an annoying co-worker has done it again, simply retreat to the restroom and breathe. You’ll feel better in minutes–literally!
* Meditation
As for meditation, we’ve heard all the wonders about this relaxation technique lowering heart rate, alleviating stress and even helping patients with long-term diseases. But we just can’t manage to work in 10 minutes of meditation a day into our busy lives! With work, children and tending to domestic duties, it’s near impossible. So just do meditation on the go!
Take advantage of unexpected down time during the day. If your computer is taking an especially long time to download files or software updates, nobody’s going to notice if you close your eyes and focus on your breath! You can do this relaxation technique while waiting at the doctor’s office, instead of filling your mind with the mental junk food of flipping through magazines. Other patients will simply think you’re smart for catching a little cat nap! If you’re uncomfortable with closing your eyes, just focus your vision on one object.
Remember to do belly breathing, although there’s no need to hold your breath for specific counts. When thoughts pop into your mind, which they will, gently dispel them; don’t chastise yourself when thoughts pop into your head; they’re going to, simply because you’re alive! Just focus on staring at the inside of your eyelids.
Chances are, when you take advantage of all the little opportunities like this throughout your day to engage in this simple yet powerful relaxation technique, you’ll be meditating more than 10 minutes a day!
* Tame Your Stress
Deep breathing and meditation on the go are easy relaxation techniques you can do anywhere every day! You’ll exude more calm, patience, balance and mental clarity.

Answer by charchar
OK I have a good one! I learned it at a school for my job. I have to do it often And every night when I go to bed just to relax or I will never get comfortable. First it’s very important to breathe in through your nose so remember that. Take the deepest breath you possibly can in through your nose and hold it for a few seconds. Now pucker your lips and blow out through your mouth. It gets oxygen to your brain quickly. Do that about 5 times, the beautiful thing is you can do it anywhere anytime.and know one will know. Second pick your battles, you can’t get flustered over everything, decide if it’s really going to make any difference tomorrow? How many of the things you have panicked about really made a difference? Third, walk away before you fall into the attack! We can’t control everything around us even though we want to. It is not possible and we were not put on this earth by God to fix everything!!!! I have to tell myself that too. I have gotten over a lot of my anxieties and future attacks by remembering that! I would like for you to try the breathing exercise asap and I promise you will be able to tell a difference, especially when you are trying to get relaxed at bedtime! Please let me know if it helped cause I will certainly stop giving this advice if it doesn’t work. All know is it helped me 75%. It will get easier if you just stop and wake yourself before you get past the point of no return in any incident.
