Picking the nook or area you will meditate in can be a hard process for some. You might think you need to decorate a corner of a room with stereotypically meditative things, like feng shui mirrors or mats that will make sitting on the floor more comfortable. This is not necessarily the case. If you like the look of these things, or if you find that they actually help, then by all means use them. Be creative and personal when choosing where you meditate, as the space should function primarily on a comfort level.

Hi,
my question is about an Audio track – meditation guide/ hypnosis.
How do I know if a relaxation audio is a hypnosis thing?
I listened to it last night and felt great relaxation.
I felt great at the time but now I’m a bit freaked out that I may have been hypnotised?
If I was, is it detrimental to me? WHat are the dangers with hypnosis?
How do I know if it was just a meditation?
Is this kind of thing safe?

Firstly a hypnotic state is a natural state of mind, one in which we all enter into several times a day, it holds no dangers.
If you brought a relaxation tape then that is what it would have been, not hypnosis. Nor would it have been meditation as it would have stated that also.
Enjoy it, it obviously relaxes you & that is always a good thing!
The difference is the aim.
Meditation requires a direct focus on an object to achieve peace of mind. Hypnosis is for healing & reprogramming the Subconscious.

I am imagining my chakras as a sphere rotating. but is this meditation all about imagining that you are aware of those chakras? Let me say I can imagine them now, then I absorb the positive energy from the universe forcing the negative energy out… but as I said imagining or saying it to myself that I absorb it really sound absurd… Some says that for a more effective chakra meditation you must undergo zen meditation first for you to have a better understanding of the world. I really am just confused.
